With a single click, Tabloid Mode™ reformats every website on the internet into the visual style of a 1996 British tabloid newspaper. 24-point red headlines. Comic Sans subheads. At least one shouting man per page.
Below: the BBC homepage as it appears to a normal British citizen on a normal day. And: the same page, after Tabloid Mode™ has done its work.
Tabloid Mode™ uses a proprietary text-replacement engine built by Brian in 2024 using Notepad and a copy of Microsoft FrontPage 2000. It is, by industry standards, "extremely cursed", but it works.
Premium subscribers (Empire and Churchill plans) can activate Sun Tribute Mode, which makes everything 38% more red, adds a small Union Jack to the top-right of every element, and replaces the word "European" with "INVADER".
Page 3 is a controversial optional extension. It is not enabled by default. We're not saying any more about it on this page, for legal reasons. You know what it is. If you want it, contact Brian via post. He'll know what you mean.
Available on Empire and Churchill plans. Activate with a single click. Wonder briefly about your life choices. Continue browsing.
